Hot Stone Massage has been around for thousands of years in many different cultures.  Healers used smooth stones from the river beds and warmed the stones using coals or hot waters. Wrapping them in cloths, they would place them on the body to relax muscles, reduce pain and stimulate healing.

This treatment begins with a simple skin brushing exfoliation before smooth basalt stones heated in water, are placed on the body over a towel, following the energy centres.

I also use hot stones as an extension of my hands to massage.  The direct heat relaxes your muscles and balances your nervous system like no other treatment.  I finish by applying cold stones to your face for a stimulating massage.
